Increase enforcement for Siberian Tiger poaching before they become extinct

The Issue

There are only an estimated 450 Siberian tigers in the wild, and that number is decreasing.

Almost all of the Siberian tigers live in Russia, in the Sikhote-Alin mountain range east of the Amur River.

They are a critically endangered species, and a major threat to their survival in the wild is poaching their fur and body parts for medicine. While poaching tigers is illegal, the business is flourishing, and a single tiger can be worth up to $50,000 on the market.

To let the Siberian Tigers survive in the wild, we need to make it more punishable to poach the tigers, and grant them more protections. This is a hard task, so we need all the help we can possible get.
