Dear Supporters,
Wired Magazine published an article on November 26, 2024 about new research showing that LED flashing lights cause AI seizures in vehicles.
Story: (https://www.wired.com/story/emergency-vehicle-lights-can-screw-up-a-cars-automated-driving-system/)
Findings: (https://sites.google.com/view/epilepticar)
Research Paper: (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uMk3IFfggywK7aUlpzmK-0jTg6bD-Vtp/view?pli=1)
Well, guess what? LED flashing lights cause seizures, migraines, thoughts of suicide, impaired vision and impaired cognitive functioning in humans, too.
The Soft Lights Foundation has submitted multiple regulatory petitions to state and federal agencies to regulate LED flashing lights, but all of our petitions have been denied or ignored. The best that government officials can say is that they are "aware" of issues involving LED flashing lights.
Contact your Representative in Congress or your State Representative. Ask your Representative to explain why government officials are "aware" of the impacts of LED vehicle flashing lights, but are not taking any action to regulate LED flashing lights to protect public health and safety.
Sincerely,
Mark Baker
