On June 7, 2024, US Representative Mike Thompson's office notified me that they plan on sending a letter to the US House Energy and Commerce Committee requesting that the committee hold a hearing with NHTSA leadership about LED headlights.  The Soft Lights Foundation has offered to testify.

Also on June 7, 2024, NHTSA acknowledged the Soft Lights Foundation petition to regulate Correlated Color Temperature for headlamps and daytime running lights.
