Dear Supporters,
On August 23, 2023, Professor Katherine Drabiak of the University of Southern Florida, College of Public Health (https://health.usf.edu/publichealth/overviewcoph/faculty/katherine-drabiak), published this article in The Hill, blasting the Department of Energy for ignoring thousands of studies on the health impacts of LED light.
Professor Drabiak studies Public Health Law, so her article is a significant event for our cause. If an LED lightbulb is a significant health hazard, imagine how hazardous it is to have a far more powerful LED headlight directed straight into your eyes.
I am sending Professor Drabiak's letter to members of Congress, State Attorney Generals, and US Attorney Generals. I encourage each of our supporters to send Professor Drabiak's letter to their two Senators and one Representative in Congress and request 1) that the GAO open an investigation into the health hazards of LEDs, and 2) that the FDA submit reports on the impacts of LED radiation to Congress as required by 21 U.S.C. 360jj.
Sincerely,
Mark Baker
