Dear Supporters,

Congress directed the FDA to regulate electromagnetic radiation from electronic products, including visible light.  The FDA has violated Congress' mandate by never approving or regulating LED light.  Therefore, the Soft Lights Foundation has submitted a formal Citizens Petition to the FDA to regulate LED light.   https://www.regulations.gov/docket/FDA-2022-P-1151

This is our key to solving the LED headlight disaster.  Once the FDA creates health and safety regulations for LEDs, then NHTSA will be forced to do something about LED headlights.
