Please consider joining the "Ban Blue-Rich LED Lights" group on Facebook. Not the catchiest name I know, but what we're up against is a broad shift in lighting technology that is being driven by LED's that emit bright, white light high in blue-spectrum waves, commonly referred to as Blue-Rich Light. These are responsible for most of the glare that is blinding you on the road. They are also being installed in streetlights, in parking lots and on homes. They cause pain and damage to the eye and suppress melatonin at five times the rate of warmer light. Both Harvard and the AMA say they contribute directly to cancer rates because of melatonin disruption. Please join the conversation on Facebook and help us get the word out!
