I have started this petition to raise awareness about the inequality between men and women who work the same job position, but make different salaries. It's about time that we make a change in society and start paying men and women equally. For example, jobs such as being a doctor or a surgeon, after controling age, race, hours and levels of education, women make 71% of what men make. Women who are financial specialists, make 66% of what men make. The list goes on. If men and women were paid equally, I think it would decrease the amount of problems that there are between the sexes. I think the world would be a happier place with equality in the workplace.
