Once again, Tyson Foods is making headlines for its bad behavior. From ongoing price-fixing allegations to failing to report on sustainability pledges to being sued for its lack of protections for workers throughout COVID-19, Tyson proves time and again that it is not to be trusted to do the right thing when left to its own accord.

However, with a brand new CEO (Dean Banks) at the helm, now is a great time for Tyson’s leadership to finally right their wrongs. If you agree Tyson needs to adopt meaningful policies for animals, the planet, public health, and workers, please join us in completing the following actions.

  • Action 1 - Reply to Tyson Foods’ new CEO's tweet and urge him to use his new power for good! You can use the following example as inspiration for your own message:
Now that @TysonFoods has a new CEO, consumers will definitely be watching closely to see which direction he takes Tyson: https://www.change.org/p/tyson-stop-neglecting-workers-animals-and-public-health
@TysonFoodsCEO, please adopt progressive policies that truly help animals, like the BCC, and invest in sustainable meat alternatives!
  • Action 2 - Submit a contact form for Tyson Foods’ customer service department. You can also call them at 800-643-3410 if you prefer!
Sample: Hi, my name is _______. I am contacting Tyson to urge your leadership to make real changes for the animals in your supply chain, as well as how you treat your workers and the communities in which you operate facilities. Please urge your new CEO, Dean Banks, to listen to consumers and enact much stronger policies and protections for animals, our planet, and public health. Consumers care deeply about these issues—which means it’s in the company’s best interest to actually listen and adapt appropriately. I look forward to your response.

Thanks to compassionate people like yourself, we will make real progress together!
