New Manitoba Government is here!

Now that the new Manitoba Government has been declared and Premier Brian Pallister has named Kelvin Goertzen Manitoba's new Minister of Health I have added him as a recipient of this petition. I have also added Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian Minister of Health Jane Philpott as well. There had been some discussion on the news earlier in the year in regards to creating a National Drug Plan for all Canadians. I think this is a good opportunity to add our voices and ask not just Manitoba, but also the Government of Canada to consider creating better access to life saving devices that aide in controlling Type 1 Diabetes. Adding these devices should be considered as a way of reducing health care costs for our Health Care System, but not only that. We should have access to therapies we need as a basic human right, a right that should NOT be dependent on if we can afford it. We deserve access to quality of life beyond the age of 18.
