After just 24 hours of having the petition up, we already have 4 signatures.  That's awesome!  But we need a lot more.  We'll need someone in the neighborhood of 50,000 before we can get any serious movement.  But the journey of 10,000 miles begins with a single step.

Still, on the "stopping Trump from getting back to the White House" front, I think we can all celebrate the DC Court of Appeals decision today that he can't have Seal Team 6 assassinate his political opponents without consequences.  The courts hedged from saying presidents don't have this kind of immunity, or that Trump wouldn't have this immunity if he were re-elected.  That's not surprising as they don't like legislating from the bench, so they'd rather only address the case in front of them if possible.  And that they did, by saying that Donald Trump is no longer president and therefore no longer has any immunity that would be granted to a president if such an immunity exists.  He has until Monday to get SCOTUS to take action if he wants to continue to delay the Federal trials further.

We're still waiting to see how badly Engoron will punish Trump, his family, and the Trump organization in Manhattan.  That may be a while considering that they're now dealing with significant perjury charges against one of the witnesses and a report from the court-ordered financial monitor that exposed major concerns of deeper fraud.
