KEEP THE PRESSURE ON: Judge orders family reunification; administration defiantly urges self-deporta

A federal judge in San Diego has ordered immigration agents to stop separating migrant parents and children who have crossed the border from Mexico and to work to reunite families who have already been split up while in custody. Meanwhile, top government officials have announced that they will not be reuniting the separated children with their parents unless their parents self-deport back to the terrors they are fleeing. While the federal judge’s actions are welcome news, we must continue to put pressure on the Trump administration to reunite the children. This administration is sure to fight back on this ruling, has publicly stated that they do not want to reunite these families, and perhaps worst of all, may not actually KNOW where these children are.
