Hi Everyone,

I have good news! I recently found out that my rapist was finally arrested and that the trial for my case could be soon. I understand that many who have seen my petition were concerned that the proper way to pursue this is through the criminal justice system. I want to assure you that I am trying everything I can!

He is being held for at least 10 days while police investigate – at the very least, that’s ten days during which he can’t give any more tours to TripAdvisor tourists.

Over the past few weeks I have been managing several personal challenges, as well as an abrupt international move, but I remain more committed to this campaign than ever. I’m still in conversations with TripAdvisor and frankly disappointed by their delay and inability to give me any concrete updates on when we can expect an announcement.

Meanwhile, our campaign isn’t going anywhere. With almost 450,000 supporters from around the world, I think we can make it to half a million signatures. Will you help us get there?
