From the depths of my heart, I/we thank you all.

To every person who signed our petition, shared our story, said a prayer, or offered words of support—please know that your kindness has meant more to my family than I can truly ever adequately express.

As a mother, there is no greater responsibility than protecting our babies. When someone harms your child, it changes your world forever. The pain, the fear, and the heartbreak do not simply just disappear with time. They become part of a journey that no parent ever wants to or should ever have to walk.

There have been moments when this fight has felt overwhelming. Moments when it seemed impossible to make our voices heard. But because of all of you, we have been reminded that we are not standing alone. Every signature tells us that people care. Every share tells us that our children's safety matters. Every act of support helps ensure that survivors are not forgotten and that their voices continue to be heard.

Your support is not just a number on a petition. It is a message to victims that they matter. It is a message that protecting children must always come first. And it is a reminder that when a community stands together, we can be a powerful force for justice.

As a mother, I will never stop fighting for my child. Knowing that so many of you have chosen to stand beside us gives me strength on the days when this burden feels too heavy to carry alone.

Thank you for believing in our cause. Thank you for standing up for my children and all children. Thank you for helping us seek justice. Most of all, thank you for reminding us that even in our darkest moments, we are not alone.

I spoke with the Missouri Department of Corrections Victims Advocate Services today since they are the only ones returning phone calls apparently and they were very helpful with some real answers,  more than we've had in 6 years. We have been made aware of his "mandatory release date" from the department of corrections is set for November 19, 2029 and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he serves his time, day for day until then! My daughter has officially delegated me to be her representative during these proceedings from here on out and even in the event of her death godforbid that never happens. I will be driving to Jefferson City on July 6th to prepare for the hearing on the 7th where I will deliver her victim impact statement, my victim impact statement as well as delivering our families statements to be considered by the board to deny his parole. We are asking that you continue to share, sign or contact decision makers if you know any and help us gain more signatures because they will all be delivered to the parole board as well. We can't thank you all enough for your continued support! God bless you all!

With all my love, deepest gratitude, and hope for a better tomorrow,

Cassie L. Fotovich
