Last year, TriCare, the owners of the derelict Salvin Park Nursing Home at 880 Creek Road, committed in writing that demolition of the old buildings would kick-off early in 2018.

Since then, there has been ongoing vandalism of the site, including at least two serious fires. This vandalism not only causes significant safety and amenity concerns for local residents, it has also created an ongoing drain on resources for emergency services and police. 

The local community has patiently waited long-enough! We demand immediate action from TriCare to ensure that this derelict facility is demolished and cleaned-up ASAP, without further delay.
