RFR, pour diverses raisons, est aujourd’hui en liquidation judiciaire. Afin de garder l’identité de notre société, nous nous sommes associés pour proposer ensemble une offre de reprise. Il s’agit aussi d’éviter le rachat et le démantèlement par des groupes d’ingénierie, motivés essentiellement par l’acquisition d’un nom et d’un portfolio enviés.

Les serres de la Villette, les verrières du terminal 2F de Roissy-Charles de Gaulle et la gare TGV, la pyramide inversée du Louvre, la passerelle Simone de Beauvoir, la Fondation Louis Vuitton, les gares de Strasbourg, d’Avignon, de Lille, ou de Belfort. Tous ces projets ont renouvelé avec exigence le paysage urbain et architectural contemporain. Et tous ont au moins un point commun : le bureau d’études RFR.

Ce bureau se démarque depuis plus de trente ans par sa liberté de penser, son indépendance et sa créativité dans l’ingénierie des structures et des enveloppes. La multiculturalité de son équipe, son esprit d’ouverture ainsi que la multiplicité de ses références, en France comme à l’étranger, ont donné à RFR une identité forte et une dimension internationale rare.

Nous valorisons notre identité, notre culture ouverte, curieuse, agile, tournée vers la recherche et l’innovation, et toujours inspirée par ses fondateurs et en particulier par Peter Rice. A travers notre offre de reprise, ce sont les fondamentaux de RFR que nous souhaitons préserver, afin de continuer à être des agitateurs d’idées autant que des constructeurs, et de fertiliser une culture technique trop formatée par les normes et règlements.

RFR, for various reasons, is currently under liquidation. In order to keep the identity of our company, we have joined together to make a takeover bid. We also want to avoid the purchase and dismantling by outside engineering groups, motivated mainly by the acquisition of a coveted name and portfolio.

The greenhouses of La Villette, the glass skin of the terminal 2F at Roissy Charles de Gaulle and its TGV station, the inverted pyramid of the Louvre, the Simone de Beauvoir footbridge, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, the railway stations in Strasbourg, Avignon, Lille, and Belfort. All these projects have a strong identity and have renewed the current urban and architectural landscape. All have at least one thing in common: the engineering design office RFR.

This office has occupied a unique position for more than thirty years due to its freedom of thought, its creativity and independent thinking in the field of structures and building skins. The multiculturalism of its team, its open-mindedness and the numerous references in France and abroad, have given RFR a strong identity and a unique international dimension.

We value our identity, our culture of openness, curiosity, and agility, aimed at research and innovation. We continue to be inspired by our founders and particularly by Peter Rice. Through our takeover offer, we hope to be able to preserve the fundamentals of RFR, to continue to be agitators of ideas as much as builders, and to cross-pollinate a technical culture which we often find too formatted by standards and regulations.
