Thanks for your support everyone. I'm going to be adding some information about Treaties soon, but would also like to draw your attention to another petition calling for a Treaty. This one is from the Alyawarr people, whose land extends over 50,000 square kilometres in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory. They are seeking "a future that will give our people self-governance and full participation at all levels of involvement in our regions and other Nations and set a clear path and a future for our younger generation." www.alyawarr.info It's great to see initiatives like this and if we can support their goals, and bring their campaign to light, then we are working together to promote Treaty for all Indigenous nations.
