Cancellation of Andrew Zimmern's Travel Channel Food shows

Cancellation of Andrew Zimmern's Travel Channel Food shows
The Issue
Last night, July 18, 2016, my husband and I decided that we would watch the episode of Hotel Impossible that we had recorded at 7pm. As we were watching the last few seconds of the previous show, one of Andrew Zimmern's. We watched horrified. Mr Zimmern, was smiling into the camera, he said "The next time you're in The Bronx (he lifted a skinned dog with the fur still on it's feet) if it looks good, eat it". I think that this is completely inappropriate. This was broadcast in the 6 pm hour, family viewing time.
I have seen clips of Mr Zimmern holding puffer fish, skates and other sea life out of the water, with the poor creatures gulping for oxygen, saying "If it looks good eat it" There is one clip that I have seen repeatedly of him holding up a dead raccoon by the tail sniffing it's anus and repeating his tag line.
Mr Zimmern has had several shows on the Travel Channel Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern - Bizzare Foods America - Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Worlds.
I understand that different cultures have different ideas of food, that different groups have different delicacies. But some things are not OK to show on TV. There is something repellent about a smiling man holding up a skinned animal and encouraging people to eat it. I believe that Mr Zimmern has a history of animal cruelty, as evidenced by the clips that advertise his various shows. I think that his shows need to stop. Please let me know if I am over reacting. I can not 'unsee' that poor dead dog that Mr Zimmern smilingly held up.
I am asking The Travel Channel and it's head of programing Kathleen Finch to re evaluate their relationship with Mr Zimmern.
