Bus Shelter Wanted for No. 5 Service in Solihull Town Centre

The Issue

Since the alteration of the service route a new main stopping point on Station Road, Solihull town centre was established. This main stop is the only main stop on Station Riad that does not have shelter.

The route and service is used widely, especially by the more senior members of our community and they have to stand in rains and other adverse weather when waiting for a bus to arrive. The only other shelter is a nearby overhanging tree and the entrance to John Lewis store.

It is essential Transport for West Midlands work with other bus service providers and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to establish a shelter, with seating, for our residents and users of the service.
