Sorry to have to inform you all that there has been a slight delay to the installation of the Green Man crossing on the north side of Battersea Bridge.

I posted an update here in May saying that works would begin in August. Senior officers at TFL have now told me that installation will not start until October. This delay is frustrating news, but I have been assured that the crossing WILL happen - and that's all that matters. I am told that the funding is still in place, which is the critical factor. So, have no fear!

In other news, my campaign mantra 'Don't Walk On By' has had its first bit of print publicity. RBKC councillor Johnny Thalasittes  wrote a nice article about the campaign in the July/August edition of the Cadogan Estate's free magazine Sloane Square. Thank You, councillor. Fame at last. (RM/12/8)
