Solidarity and Outreach

Hello Everyone,

I want to share an important step we've taken together.

As a retired professional with 30 years of experience advocating as well as working directly with sexual assault victims at the County of Kauai, Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, I know firsthand the immense courage it takes for survivors, especially children, to navigate through systemic barriers.

Integrity is an equal opportunist. Electoral transparency and accountability within our justice system go hand in hand.

The recent ad weaponizing and exploiting childhood trauma for political ammunition left me sickened.  It prompted me to officially reach out to Dr. Amy Acton to express our solidarity for survivors.

I believe we have common goals, so I advised her of our initiative, shared our petition, and asked for her support to spread the word!
