Learning As We Go

Hello Everyone,

I am learning as we go and realize it would be helpful to clarify some things:

• For those who received the $90 rebate: You can choose to donate a portion of it to an organization of your choice.
• For those who did not receive the $90 rebate: Your signature serves as a pledge regarding the proposed $5,000 dividend. If you receive it in the future, you are promising to donate a portion of it to an organization of your choice at that time.

My only expectation is that your chosen organization was founded by grassroots efforts and actively protects or serves election integrity and/or human rights.

This includes local, national, and international organizations that:

• Provide advocacy or direct services to survivors of sexual assault and sex trafficking
• Defend and support immigrants, veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community
• Protect free and fair elections
• Assist in voter registration
• Uphold the separation of church and state

Every dollar counts in today's difficult economic climate. Yet, I truly believe that the smallest of collective contributions helps build a wave massive enough to protect our democracy.

I trust that you'll only give what you are comfortable with and know that your solidarity alone makes a powerful impact.
