Sin embargo, será otro año más en el que Alcoy celebrará la Cabalgata sin poner en cuestión el
aspecto racista de los pajes.
El año pasado, a finales de enero, presentamos la petición con unas 18.000 firmas al alcalde y a todo
el ayuntamiento de Alcoy - ¡sin ninguna respuesta por su parte!
Por lo tanto, vamos a recoger muchas más firmas y así aumentar la presión sobre el gobierno de la
ciudad de Alcoy para responder a la petición.
Nos gustaría pediros a tod@s l@s que habéis firmado y apoyásteis la petición que la difundáis de
nuevo en todas vuestras redes y entre vuestros contactos.

However, yet another year in which Alcoy will celebrate the Cabalgata without putting in question the
racist nature of the “pajes”.
Last year, end of January, we submitted the petition with about 18.000 signatures to the mayor and
the entire city council of Alcoy – without any reply from them!
Let us therefore collect far more signatures and thus raise the pressure onto the city government of
Alcoy to respond to the petition.
