Hey Everyone

A quick update for you all.

I’m just picking up momentum again after the christmas break. The response has been crazy positive so far. We’ve had 2,500+ people signing the petition. Over 1.3 million views on my content. And thousands of comments from people all over Scotland reaching out to help with encouragement or support.

It's even made it onto Heart Scotland on the Radio Today — I never heard it but I’ve been told it was positive. It's clear everyone wants to see our city looking better… Not just this building.

And it feels to me like we can actually do something positive together here. If we keep the momentum going, keep the positivity. This all helps create demand for good things to happen. I do have some exciting conversations happening behind the scenes now (more on that soon though!).

And in true Glasgow style we've had some funny creative suggestions for the building… (Check my instagram for the video of them). 

Someone said we should put a jobby on it. Someone else suggested a pie. Someone else said cover it in vines - this one is giving me 'Day After Tomorrow'/'I Am Legend' kinda vibes… And of course someone suggested putting a cone on it (love it!). Someone else wants Limmy's face on it.

Now these are not quite what I had in mind, but 10 out of 10 for creative thinking! Fun fact: He and I both studied in that building a year apart - so that would be cool to see him up there! We've even inspired someone to paint an oil painting of it as it stands… how cool is that?

And that's what I love about creativity. You do something and it sparks another idea in someone else's brain and creates a chain reaction of events. And I think that's what we can do here.

Imagine this is a catalyst for lots of different creative ideas and activations that all make our city better. Created by us. No one is coming to do it for us, we have to make it happen.

So, let's see what we can make happen together. If you are doing any great creative projects or have ideas for creative things that could be great for the city let me know and I can help raise awareness for them as part of all this in my content.
