We recently met with the Waitematā Local Board Chair, Genevieve Sage, who was supportive of the community vision to create a more people friendly space on Rose Road beside the old Fire Station. 

As we walked around the location, the sun was out in midwinter and it was clear that with some seating and planter boxes it would be a great spot to soak up some winter rays for the local community.
