I have always found our school mascot's name to be less than exciting. If you know me, you'll know that I am a person who stands for innovation and creativity. That's why I have started this petition. Let's change our school mascot's name to "The Rocks". This is a personal endeavor, as I always found this name to be undeniably cool. More than being cool, it also symbolizes strength and resilience- values that our school should represent. A change like this can also bring a fresh spirit to our school sports and other events. Imagine the cheer of the crowd chanting "Go Rocks!" It has a much more dynamic and impactful feel to it. According to various sources, studies have revealed a positive correlation between a strong, relatable mascot and increased student engagement. Therefore, it is time for our community to embrace this change and encourage a stronger and more inventive spirit through our school mascot. Let's take a step towards the future. Please join me in making this change. Sign this petition now!
