Wellpath Recovery Solutions continues to care for the most vulnerable population in Massachusetts.

Last month, the Department of Corrections renewed Wellpath's contract for five more years for the Bridgewater State Hospital patient population, the majority suffering from serious mental illness. 

Wellpath recently changed its name to "Recovery Solutions” in November 2024 making it appear that they are a new health care provider. They are the same organization, with the same leadership.   

This contract renewal sets up this population for a tragedy waiting to happen.   

We are asking for your support to help our advocacy group transfer Bridgewater State Hospital to the Department of Mental Health, the experts! No health care organization with a history like Wellpath Recovery Solutions should ever be allowed to provide care for a population who desperately requires expert mental health treatment.

This is one of the many reasons why the Department of Corrections should be removed as the oversight authority. The allowed neglect and abuse are astonishing!
