Wellpath Recovery Solutions recently received a new five year contract to care for patients at Bridgewater State Hospital after failing this same poplation the previous five years. The Department of Corrections decision cleary shows poor leadership, an incredible poor decision, and furthe rshows the Department of Corrections has no idea how to manage this facility.   

All the warning signs have persisted for the past  five years at Bridgewater State Hospital.

This is one of the many reasons why the Department of Mental Health must take oversight for Bridgewater State Hospital.  Allowing Recovery Solutions (Previously named Wellpath Recovery Solutions) to continue care for the most vulerable population suffering form serious mental illness is a tradgedy in the making.
