Dear Supporters:

What an amazing 48 hours! Our petition now has over 300 signatures, and the campaign is getting traction in our community. I am writing to share three calls to action for how you can help NOW:

1. Share the petition. We're off to a great start, but we need to get the word out! Send it to your neighborhood listservs, Facebook groups, or other channels!
2. Make a plan to attend next week's open house, Thursday, Feb. 1, noon-2pm and 4-8pm, Washtenaw Community College Room 105, Morris Lawrence Building 4800 E. Huron River Drive Ann Arbor, MI 48105. We are prioritizing written feedback at this stage, through the project website or any opportunities for written input at the open house. We will be sharing more information closer to the event about what to expect, and hope to put together a carpool from Ann Arbor.
3. Step up to help by emailing us at info@trainsnotlanes.org. We are working on talking points, carpools to the open house, parsing project documents, and developing our strategies, etc. To protect your privacy, Change.org does not share your email address with us, so we will use these updates to keep you informed.
