Finally, what we wanted has happened. The government has started a portal in which any person can block his Lost or Stolen phone using the IMEI number. Truely, now you have the power to block access to your stolen or lost mobile phone, and that too through a proper government agency. This could not have happened without your support. So please take a bow, pat yourself on the back and enjoy this moment. This service was launched all over India on 15th of March this year. Of course we petitioned the government much before that. But when have the wheels of the government moved fast? We can take pride that more than a lakh of us realised that there is a problem and we recommended a solution. And that solution was workable.
