I just want to take a moment to thank everyone that has signed this petition. Your support has been instrumental in helping to make the city of Montrose a safer place to live. 
I will be presenting this petition to city council in approximately three weeks. Mayor Barbara Bynum has been a extremely helpful in answering my questions regarding presenting this issue in a professional and concise way to the city council. 
I would like to invite all of you to join me at the city council meeting on July 18, 2023 at 6:00pm. 
Let’s show our city that we care about our citizens and their safety.
