It's been a long journey, but the new playground equipment has finally been installed at Cambridge Street Reserve in Collingwood, and the City of Yarra are marking the occassion with a special reopening this Saturday March 29th from 10-11:30am.

To celebrate, there will be free facepainting for the kiddos and free coffees for the grownups!

Come down to meet other local families and enjoy the new facilities (including a slide with climbing wall, a 4-way rocker, an in-ground trampoline, some nature log and boulder steppers and new accessible and colourful rubber undersurface under the existing basket swing).

Thank you again for your support during the campaign that led to the decision to bring back play equipment for local children and families in Collingwood, and we hope to see you on Saturday!
