Richard Bulpitt Elementary is the fastest growing school in Langley, BC with over 530 students enrolled in Kindergarten to Grade 5 for September 2016.  Our school has doubled in size since it opened. Despite being in its third year of operation, the school has NO crosswalks for our students to gain safe access to the school. Despite repeated attempts by school parents and PAC representatives asking the Township of Langley to paint temporary crosswalks while they finish the development of the area, the Township continues to deny our community and tells us that nothing will be done until all development of the entire area is completed. This will take years and we simply cannot wait. Many parents have witnessed close calls of families and children having to dart out between parked cars and we cannot stay quiet any longer.  It is neither difficult nor a hardship for the Township of Langley to paint white lines on the road to keep all of our children safe. We refuse to allow a needless tragedy to occur in order for change to take place. Please help us to take action.
