We the undersigned respectfully request that the Mayor and Council accept the Memorandum of Understanding, signed by the Oakville Yacht Squadron and presented at the February 20th meeting of the Administrative Services Committee . The Oakville Yacht Squadron has been a valued member of the harbour community for over 70 years and is part of the history, heritage and culture of Oakville, founded by veterans. At the recent February 20th meeting, a motion was put forth to terminate the lease holdings of the Oakville Yacht Squadron. We are asking for support from the community for the Oakville Yacht Squadron's continued existence as part of the Oakville's heritage!
