Heritage Trees are being clear cut by greedy developers that do not care about our neighbourhood or the immense value of mature trees for all of us.

The photo is from 181 Beechwood Cresent where a greedy developer is clear cutting 100+ year old trees to squeeze in 2 monster homes after he clears the trees, demolishes the house and severes the lot into 2 lots.

No tree should be removed without being reviewed and approved by the Town.

Right now a developer can buy a house/lot then clear cut all trees without any approvals!  Only after submitting a development plan does the current tree protection plan come into effects.
