Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. We had the petition present in front of the council, mayor and staff at last Wednesday's council meeting. The meeting seemed to go pretty well. There was only one person that spoke in favour of not changing it (my neighbour) compared to 4 people that spoke in favour of changing it. Council has decided to send it back with staff to look into the matter. They should have a initial report ready for the October council meeting. From there council will decide if they want a more in depth report. Once I have the exact date and time of the meeting I will post it in an update. Please continue to contact your counsiler and mayor to express your opinion about this bylaw. The more positives responses they hear the better.
