Do you miss the Rainbow Restaurant? Do you wonder why it hasn’t re-opened yet with new owners?

The reason is because of the property owner and tenant next door, the building with ..
‘IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT DON’T LOOK’ spray painted on the side of the building. For forty years the Rainbow has used that side of the building for deliveries thru the lower level, access to a lower level dumpster location, and employee parking. Never has an issue arose from deliveries being made on that side of the Rainbow or issues with the dumpster. Never has damage been done to the property or employees vehicles parked behind the Rainbow. Multiple attempts to settle this situation have been made, but there is no consideration by the owner and tenant to allow the needed Rainbow operations described above to continue. Instead, ‘No Trespassing’ signs, ‘traffic cones’, and heavy equipment have been placed to block our access.

The Rainbow Restaurant has always been a good citizen to the town of Bedford, and a local favorite for generations of customers. It is a travesty that this town treasure is being prevented from operation by the same tenant that has defaced and scarred the property next door and/or the owner that has allowed that to happen.

The Rainbow cannot be sold and re-opened until this situation is resolved.

The undersigned people show their support and loyalty to this local landmark and family restaurant that so many love and look forward to its reopening.
