FROM: Glocester Citizens for Safety

Do you think the Town Council of your town should encourage the "police department’s [right] to exercise sound discretion when enforcing laws impacting the rights of citizens under the Second Amendment.”?

Firearms laws are for public safety: we need to make sure that current, CONSTITUTIONAL RI LAWS such as Backround Checks for all purchases, Seven Day Waiting Periods, preventing Convicted Domestic Violence Abusers, and individuals who may be Suicidal or Homicidal and those that have been Involuntarily Committed to a Mental Health Facility DO NOT have access to guns. Our existing laws need to be enforced and not be optional to keep us safe here in Rhode Island.

You can also email or call your town councils members. Their information should be on your town’s website.

Tell them you DO NOT support the issue of your town becoming a "Second Amendment Sanctuary Town”

PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION TO OPPOSE THE RESOLUTION AND TO KEEP YOUR NEIGHBORS SAFE!
