Dear Supporters, This will be the last update for a while. The campaign has come to a halt (for now) because: a) the consultation period, during which objections can be made to Resolution Property's plan to demolish the Spiegelhalter facade, ends tomorrow, 9th March. (You can still post your thoughts on the Tower Hamlets Council website here: http://planreg.towerhamlets.gov.uk/WAM/createComment.do;jsessionid=DC83A3496A5BDFE3B29568BC190C39C4?action=CreateApplicationComment&applicationType=PLANNING&appNumber=PA/14/03547 b) we have more than enough signatures on the THC Planning Department web page to prompt a Council debate on the subject and have made it clear that we are looking for local listing status for the site and that any proposal that involves the demolition of the original facade is unacceptable.
