Dear Supporters, Less than two days into the campaign and we already have one hundred signatures and many wonderful messages including two (I'm very pleased to see) from distantly-related members of the Spiegelhalter family! Thanks to them and thanks to all of you for your support and comments. One hundred signatures - great, but not enough. We'll be leafleting the area in the next two weeks and getting local businesses to publicise the campaign. But the main push is here, on the petition website. This is the focus of our campaign to persuade Tower Hamlets Council to step in and ensure the survival of this landmark building. So please continue to spread the word - Save Spiegelhalters!
