Since the last update where we reported that Tower Hamlets has added the pub to the list of Assets of Community Value, the current owners have made it apparent that they would like to sell the leasehold. As a community we have been given the chance to assemble a bid for the pub, and six months to find the money to buy the leasehold from the current owners. We are massively excited about the prospect of ensuring the future of this great East London pub but there is a lot of work to do. We are looking at the various options, including Crowd Funding and other forms of investment. If you would like to find out more, please let me know. Great news for all concerned.
