🏆 Notre cri a été entendu! A Vilnius le 4 juillet 2024, suite à notre plaidoyer, des intervenants-clés – dont le Président et le Vice-Président de la Conférence des ONG internationales du Conseil de l’Europe (représentant plus de 300 OING) – ont souligné qu'il ne devrait y avoir **aucune exclusion territoriale** de la Charte Sociale Européenne ni de « citoyens de seconde classe ». 

✅ Cela veut dire que les 11 territoires français dits d'outremer devraient bénéficier de cette protection des droits humains économiques et sociaux. C’est un pas vers la victoire.

❌ Cependant, tout en proclamant sa détermination à protéger les droits sociaux pour tous, la France n’a encore pas pris d’engagement officiel concret.

🏆 Our cry has been heard ! In Vilnius on 4 July 2024, following our advocacy, key speakers – including the President and Vice-President of the Conference of International NGOs of the Council of Europe (representing over 300 INGOs) – stressed that there should be **no territorial exclusion** from the European Social Charter nor any “second class citizens”.

✅ This means that the 11 French overseas territories should benefit from this protection of economic and social human rights. This is a step towards victory.

❌ However, while proclaiming its determination to protect social rights for all, France has yet to make a concrete official commitment for overseas territories.
