Firstly I want to apologise for not updating you all sooner I have had a bit of a roller coaster ride since the end of October culminating with me fighting to keep my home. However today the Ministry of justice has anounced its plans to increase sentencing for driver that kill to life which equates to manslaughter. Now it will need people to go to gov.uk from tomorrow to take park in the consultation that the ministry of justice is doing. This is our chance to put our views across to Parliament, may this time they are listening to us. I heard the news late last night but there was an embargo on publicising the news until today. I of course have been on BBC Radio 5Live along with Major Gilby who's son James was killed by drivers that were racing. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your support during the campaign, which will continue until the law is changed, the next step is to make sure the judges in our courts are given guidelines so that they can sentence these drivers to the fullest extent of the law. I am now going to take a break so that I can concentrate on my health I am having surgery in January and will need about three months to recover.
