Wow, 500 signatures in 24 hours! It just goes to show the strength of feeling about this shop and the harm it's causing to the people of Bideford. Reading through your comments shows how many of you have experienced first hand the problems this place is causing and are understandably concerned about young and vulnerable people accessing these legal highs. This has made me even more determined to get Torridge District Council to act! So please help us push for 1000 signatures. Once we hit this milestone Torridge District Council have to sit up and take notice. The response from some councillors so far has been that there is nothing they can do. Yet other towns such as Exeter and Plymouth have managed to close shops there and have used other tactics to make life difficult for the shop owners. I do believe more can be done and that our show of unity cannot be ignored. So thank you for your support. Please share this petition widely and let's get to 1000 signatures.
