The Toronto Police Services month-long bike lane ticketing blitz will stop at the end of the week, but unfortunately the vehicular War on Cyclists in Toronto will not. Lend your support to keep the blitz going with Parking Enforcement Officer Kyle Ashley leading the charge by signing this petition. PEO Ashley's activities on the street and online have helped draw attention to the safety risks faced by cyclists. By working together as a community with PEO Ashley and the police, we've seen progress in the bike lanes, but we need to keep up the pressure or all the hard work over the past month of the bike lane blitz will be undone. Please take a few minutes to sign the petition, which has so far averaged more than one vote per hour. There is also a link in the petition to an e-form that can be submitted directly to the police to compliment PEO Ashley's work. Let's not settle for less. We need to keep up the pressure for the truly safe cycling infrastructure cyclists deserve while eliminating the flagrant disrespect certain bad drivers exhibit for cyclists and parking laws.
