Build a Joe Carter statue!

Build a Joe Carter statue!
Established in 1977, the Toronto Blue Jays are a beloved and iconic piece of not only Toronto’s storied sports history but also Toronto’s identity as a whole.
With the ever growing Legends Row at the ACC (currently Scotiabank Arena), MLSE has finally helped this great sports city join the ever growing trend of honouring our sports icons with 10 classic statues of great Toronto Maple Leafs.
Despite this great move the Toronto Blue Jays, just down the street, have exactly one statue...of Ted Rogers, an admitted non sports fan that has had absolutely nothing to do with the history of the Toronto Blue Jays other than being rich enough to purchase them through monopolistic gouging of customers.
This city and this team deserve a real statue to put the Blue Jays on the map of honouring past greats and there is no better place to start than with Joe Carter’s game 6 walk-off homerun to clinch the 2nd of back-to-back World Series titles.
One of the greatest moments in Toronto sports history and the last memory of major North American sports championship glory for this city deserves to be put on display for all to see.
If the symbol of greed that currently stands is going nowhere, the least that the money hungry greedy ownership group can do is give the fans something to be proud of by creating a shrine to one of our all time greats.
Put Joe back on the map and give fans something worth coming out to see by honouring what is not only one of the greatest moments in Toronto sports history, but also one of the greatest moments in all of World Series history.
Bring back Joe Carter!!!!
