We had a great day out yesterday distributing leaflets to the good people of Grantham. This campaign is beginning to lift off, with new signatories every day, but we need to get to 100 to present the petition to the local council. It emerged recently that they turned down the chance of a local  referendum citing costs of £100k as too much. But then passed a byelaw supporting a grand unveiling of the statue costing....you guessed it... £100k!
