Hi everyone, Something quite amazing has happened. What started, as you know, as local trade dispute over wages has turned into a national movement. This Saturday 14th May there will be protests taking place in 13 cities across the UK from Dundee to Plymouth, with the main one happening at Topshop's flagship store in Oxford Street. Full list of cities so far includes: London, Liverpool, Dundee, Edinburgh, Loughborough, Norwich, Sheffield, Gloucester, Plymouth, Glasgow, Norfolk, Cambridge, and possibly Newcastle, Belfast and Birmingham too. The aims of the protest are simple: that the continued victimisation of Topshop cleaners comes to an end, the suspensions of the Topshop 2 are lifted, and the cleaners are paid a living wage. Too much to ask? This may not have been possible without you all so thank you again and I hope some of you can make on on 14th May at 5pm to the Oxford Street demonstration.
