We have reached 200 + signatures! I know that our goal is 1500 and that we are still shy 1000 + votes but I am proud of and impressed by the amount of people who are already stepping forward and ending the silence. How do atrocities happen? How do people like Adolph Hitler manage to convince half the world that HATE is ok? How??? It happened because goo people, honest, caring and compassionate people don't speak out. They see the pain and offer sympathy but are too scared or intimidated to step forward. They hear about the aftermath and question themselves as to why they didn't do something sooner. This is OUR time. This is the time for our community to step forward and say enough is enough. We will no longer be bullied by anonymous posters. Weill no longer allow a site like topix to make money off our dirty laundry while our very town rots around us. Please let your voice be heard. Whether you yourself have been subjected to the abuse that Topix breeds or you know someone who has, step forward! Please sign the petition, share it via social media and encourage your friends to sign and share too. We cannot afford to sit around and wait for someone else to make this right, to stop the abuse and harassment. Already we have people's lives being threatened. we cannot afford to sit back as a community and wait for the first actual legitimate bullet to be shot or for one of the targets to kill themselves because of cyber-bullying. We cannot sit back as a community and in the aftermath wonder what if. The time to act is now. The time to step forward and say enough is enough is now!
