CLAIR CASE UPDATE; COURT TRIAL AUGUST 12, 2016; RALLY PLANS; DOCUMENT UPDATES!

Jun 23, 2016 — This update is to bring you current on events regarding the Clair Case, an upcoming plans regarding our fight to reform the justice system.

The next court date on the Clair case is August 12, 2016, same department, same judge. We are planning a rally on that date. I have contacted individuals who might speak from the ACLU, and some of the innocence organizations. We also plan on having former exonerated wrongfully convicted inmates as part of the event. We are having community leaders speak regarding the unfair justice system. If the court is in session that day, and it should be, we will be making sure that individuals are present in the courtroom from Court Watch Groups and justice reform groups. If you can speak at that event, or attend the event, please let me know. If we know in advance that the court date will be continued, I will let you know. If you can donate towards his event, it would be most appreciated. Of course we will have the media there too.

In my meeting with Kenneth Clair yesterday, he informed me that the Ninth Circuit Court has formally released his former counsel, Mr. Grele, from his case. Since Mr. Clair didn't make the deal involving parole, the federal government is looking for new appellate counsel because now Mr. Clair qualifies again. Mr. Clair is not too sure at this particular time whether or not he will want new counsel to represent him in both of the State and Federal cases. Mr. Clair expressed to me that he may be seeking a pro bono, high profile attorney, to represent him in all of his upcoming matters. So right now, Mr. Clair has options available in the upcoming proceedings.

I would like to again thank all of the supporters because Mr. Clair would not have these options available, if it wasn't for your steadfast support in the petition. Mr. Clair is also setting a president to other individuals who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes because of prosecutorial criminal misconduct. Now we have a high profile case that is nationally known that will be dealing with the prosecutions unethical and criminal goals to win at all cost. Thanks to your support, the nation is now focusing on this case.

Speaking of national high profile attention, I have spoken to the producers at ABC news and the special session filmed with Kenneth Clair, should be airing sometime within the next couple of weeks. I will let everyone know when this event will air. I will also update it with the petition and my website.

You might go to my website at www.cjfordpi.com. I just recently posted the declarations of Opal Brown, Barbara Perry, and Pauline Flores. I have posted my declaration for the Amicus filing. I posted the secret DA report proving that the DA knows the identity of the person that was too young at the time to have committed the crime. This document also demonstrates that the DA researched information regarding that person’s older male relatives. The DA limited their search to just male relatives who lived in the Santa Ana area at the time. I can tell you through my sources that the DA knows the identity of the young man, and the older relative. This is why the DA limited their search to Santa Ana only, because the DA knows that the older male relative didn't reside in the Santa Ana area and if the DA was called to give the court a report, the DA could claim that they did due diligence looking for the older male relative. You can read this report for yourself, and make comments. These documents are posted under the tab “News & Stories”.

So let's get out there and get this petition signed by others, donate to the rally, comment on this update, and do everything that we have to do to continue this journey to reform the justice system.
