We, the people of the great state of Wisconsin, wish to reclaim the Upper Peninsula(U.P.) of Michigan. Historically, the Upper Peninsula belongs to Wisconsin. Michigan won the U.P. as a result a conflict with Ohio. It was an unfair arbitration of land by the federal government to a state that has done nothing but suck federal funding for the last 25 years. It is connected far more to Wisconsin geographically as well. The poor state of Michigan is unable to allocate resources necessary to support the citizens of the U.P. Michigan is far too busy taking care of its problems in Detroit, and other major cities. Wisconsin is a more financially capable state, capable of providing the citizens of the Upper Peninsula proper governance.
